Abbie prepared for her future as criminal defense attorney by successfully completing the College of Law’s Concentrated Study for Criminal Litigation. She received the Schmid Honor Law Scholarship which rewards students who demonstrate excellence in academia, leadership, and community involvement during law school. And, by invitation of the dean, Abbie continues to serve as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, which evaluates and provides advice concerning the general business of the College of Law.

Sean Reagan graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association in 1999. Sean started his solo practice, Reagan Law Office, in 2000 in Plattsmouth, concentrating his practice in the areas of family law, criminal law, and juvenile court. Sean relocated his practice to Lincoln in May 2003, establishing himself in an office share in the city’s Haymarket District. Between 2008 and the end of 2922, Sean was a partner in Reagan, Melton & Delaney, based in the Omaha area. He left that firm and, as of January 1, 2023, re-establisbed his solo practice.. Liz practices primarily in general criminal and civil law.  Additionally, Liz is a certified Guardian Ad Litem, whose role is to protect the best interest of children during the course of a juvenile proceeding.. Liz is a 2015 Sterling Honors graduate from the University of South Dakota School of Law, where she graduated second in her class and served as Editor-in-Chief of the South Dakota Law Review.  While in law school, Liz also competed in a national trial team tournament in Puerto Rico and served as graduate assistant to the Dean and writing professors where she assisted in legal writing instruction and individually tutored first-year law students.  She was the recipient of multiple academic and writing scholarships and twelve Deans Awards for Academic Achievement, which are awarded to the student with the highest grade in each course.   Liz received her dual Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science, with Honors, from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2010 and is native to the Kearney area, having graduated from Elwood High School.  Liz currently resides in Amherst.. Liz has experience in both state and federal court.  During her undergraduate studies, Liz interned at the Buffalo County State’s Attorney’s office, and before law school, she served as a bailiff/courtroom clerk in Buffalo County Court.  After obtaining her law degree, Liz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Roberto A. Lange of the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota in Pierre.

Justin Herrmann’s practice is focused on representing clients primarily in the areas of criminal defense, employment law, business, real estate, wills and trusts, estate planning and probate. Robert grew up in the Bessemer, Alabama area and graduated from Hueytown High School. After attending The University of Alabama, Robert earned his Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law, where he was an honors graduate and a member of the Mock Trial Team. When away from his practice, Robert and his wife enjoy spending time at the lake with their dogs.. Robert practices criminal defense, personal injury, and domestic relations.

Attorney Swinton is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and a graduate of the University of Virginia where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law. She then graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law where she focused on litigation.. As a law student, she excelled academically. As a member of the Moot Court Board, she achieved regional victories and national recognition; she was a member of the highly selective Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, and also participated in Michigan State University’s Street Law Program where she taught legal concepts to high school students. During this time, she acquired skills in advocacy and case management as a law clerk and legal extern with Legal Services of South Central Michigan and the United States House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, respectively.
