Anthony J. Teesdale is the owner-operator at Teesdale Law. He passionately advocates for the protection of individual liberties. Attorney Christi Olcott has been an attorney in Utah since 2011. Ms. Olcott has primarily practiced law in the criminal justice system as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. Ms. Olcott earned an A.A. from Dixie State and a B.S. from Utah State University in Elementary Education with a minor in Political Science in 2008. Ms. Olcott then attended the University of Idaho College of Law and obtained her J.D. in 2011. During her time in law school, Ms. Olcott was a student attorney with the Victims’ Rights Clinic, an Officer in the Law Students for Appropriate Dispute Resolution (focusing on negotiation, arbitration and mediation), on the Trial Team moot court team, and a student representative on the Student Bar Association.. Ms. Olcott worked as a prosecutor in Utah county and for several years at different law firms as a defense attorney. Prior to attending lawschool, I was a police officer in Texas (1998-2005).. After graduating from law school I relocated to Utah with my husband, Greg, who is a criminal defense attorney. ()  In 2010 I gave birth to twin sons and currently work part-time practicing family law on my own and also assist my husband with his criminal defense practice.. Working on my own allows me to choose my cases as they come in, allows me to have lower overhead costs resulting in lower prices for clients, and allows me to give special attention to my clients....they are not just a file to me.

I was born and raised in South Jordan, UT and that is where I live now. I worked in corporate America for nearly 10 years before I decided to pursue my dream of becoming an attorney. My family and I moved to Kansas in 2009 so I could attend law school. I get a great deal of satisfaction from interacting with my clients and helping them obtain the results they need. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports, cooking, and reading.

Keith retired from public service in 2013 after serving for 32 years as a police officer, proscutor, a Judge Pro Tem in the Third District Court, an Administrative Law Judge (2 years), a Chief Prosecutor for West Valley City (17 years), a City Attorney, a Justice Court Judge (12 years), mentor judge, a member of the Utah Judicial Council.  During that time period he was head of his own law firm, a certified court mediator, and taught police officers for 20 years at Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training.  He has trained police officers all over the western United States, attorneys, and judges in subjects such as criminal law, criminal procedure, search and seizure, laws of evidence, domestic violence, DUI law, laws of arrest, interrogation, Miranda, motor vehicle law, and testifying in court.  He has successfully argued before the Utah Supreme Court and tried over 10,000 cases at all levels of courts with 500 jury trials in justice and district courts.. Keith has an Associate’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from Ricks College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University.  He taught speech, debate and communication courses at BYU and criminal law as an ad junct professor at the J. Reuben Clark School of Law.  He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1982.. Ryan N. Holtan specializes in criminal defense and trial law. Mr. Holtan grew up in Alaska before attending college in Montana where he raced for Montana State University’s NCAA ski team. After college, Mr. Holtan went to straight to law school at the University of Utah. In his third year of law school, Mr. Holtan elected to participate in a year-long criminal clinic with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.. See “No Trial Is Unwinnable“.. Ryan N. Holtan was raised in Alaska and spent his summers fishing and his winters skiing.  School and skiing took him to Montana State University where he raced for their NCAA Division I ski team.  Mr. Holtan graduated with honors from Montana State University in 2006 with a degree in Political Science.  He immediately enrolled in the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah where he focused on criminal and natural resources law.. During his second year of law school Mr. Holtan worked as a law clerk for a large regional Oil & Gas law firm.  In his third year of law school, Mr. Holtan elected to participate in a year-long criminal clinic with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.  It was there that he discovered his true passion and love trial law.  While at the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Holtan prosecuted cases for Salt Lake County and the State of Utah.  He handled difficult and complex  criminal charges from arraignment to trial.  This experience has proven invaluable as it gave him an inside look at the system he would later face across the courtroom.. After graduating from law school at the age of only 24, Mr. Holtan went into private civil practice for a short time but left to pursue his career in criminal defense.  He managed his own criminal law practice and quickly gained a reputation for passionate and professional defense.  Managing his own practice gave him a unique perspective on the law and the opportunity to relate directly to his clients.  But after more than a year Mr. Holtan wanted to spend less time on business and more time on law and his clients.  It was then he joined the team at Pearson, Butler & Carson.  He brought the passion and personal contact that made his own practice successful and gained the support and experience of Pearson Butler..
