I grew up in Fort Mill, South Carolina and graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1998. After graduating from high school I attended the College of Charleston, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications. After graduation, I worked for the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a team marketing representative before deciding to enroll in law school at the Charleston School of Law in 2004. While attending the Charleston School of Law, I was an active member of the Moot Court Board and clerked in various positions and practice areas.. Upon graduating from the Charleston School of Law in 2007, I worked for a civil defense firm, where I practiced under some of the best civil litigators in South Carolina. In 2010, I went to work for the Solicitor’s Office where I primarily prosecuted drug cases, crimes against children and violent crimes. During my time at the Solicitor's Office, I successfully tried over 30 cases in General Sessions and also became certified to conduct forensic interviews with children.. In June of 2019, I left the Solicitor's Office to open the Cornwell Law Firm, LLC, which is a boutique law firm designed to handle any legal needs. I am dedicated to providing my clients with excellent legal representation and ensuring the best possible outcome in every case I handle.
