Brent is a proud Red Raider. He received both his undergraduate and juris doctrine degrees from Texas Tech University. In law school, Brent focused on honing his skills in the courtroom. Brent won a National Championship and Regional Championship in Trial competitions. He was also a nation finalist in a Negotiations competition. In 2017, Brent was elected into the National Order of Barristers, a national organization recognizing excellence in law school courtroom competitions.. Brent is an advocate for eqaulity. He is a strong ally for the LGBTQIA community and provides a judgment free zone for issues of all kind. He stays actively involved with various LGBTQ+ organizations in the DFW area, and is a current member of the Texas LGBT Bar Association.
