I was born in Carbondale, IL, but grew up in a small town in southwestern Wyoming. After attending the University of Wyoming, I returned to Illinois for law school at the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign, where I graduated in 2004.. Since graduating from law school, I have spent the majority of my career in criminal, traffic and DUI courts, as prosecutor, defense attorney and public defender. In my time at the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office I was a prosecutor in the misdemeanor court for two years, and in the five years prior to joining the law firm of Hall, Rustom & Fritz, I was the chief DUI and traffic prosecutor in Peoria County.. While in Peoria, I was reponsible for the prosecution of 600-700 DUIs per year and over 30,000 traffic tickets. Many of the cases I prosecuted were felony DUI and felony driving while license revoked cases. I tried many cases before juries while in the State's Attorney's Office, and, in fact, in the last four years of my time in that office I did not lose a single trial in front of a jury.. I have the knowledge of the law and trial experience to help with your criminal, DUI or traffic needs. I take great pride in being able to help people that have found themselves in bad situations and will work hard to get you the outcome that you deserve.
