Greg was born in the former Soviet Union and immigrated to the United States with family at the age of eleven.. He grew up in Kent, Washington, where he graduated from Kent-Meridian High School.  He then attended the University of Washington where he received his degree in political science.  He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate (Doctor of Law) degree from Gonzaga University School of Law where he was a recipient of an Achievement Merit Scholarship.. Between the time he completed his undergraduate studies and the time he attended law school, Greg worked as a real estate professional. As one of the youngest real estate agents at the time, he worked hard to learn more about the real estate industry than his older competitors. Given his strong work ethic, determination and acquired knowledge, his clients were able to see past his youth and trust his expertise. Within a short period of time Greg progressed to working with developers and builders on large development and building projects.. I have always wanted to serve my community.  I started my career in the Navy defending our country.  After I was honorably discharged, I became a police officer, where I was criticized by my peers for "thinking too much" about people's rights. I then went to law school to have a greater impact on my community. Gina Buskirk was born and raised in Washington. As a daughter from a blue collar Boeing family, she set her sights on being the first woman in her family to graduate from college. She worked her way through college earning her J.D. from Seattle University where she graduated Cum Laude in 2000.. After passing the bar, Gina focused on civil litigation and juvenile criminal defense. In 2002, she was recruited to become a prosecutor and became well-known in the legal community for her ability to effectively manage and litigate a wide variety of cases in courts throughout Kitsap County. While assigned to the Juvenile division, she handled misdemeanor and felony crimes including Vehicular Assault, Burglary, and sex offenses.
