Admitted in Washington State in 2014, she remains a dedicated criminal defense and personal injury attorney. Outside the courtroom, Ms. Simmons is a licensed private pilot, former high-alpine guide, and avid backpacker in the Olympic Mountains. -- Seeking Justice for Criminal Defendants and Injury Victims --. "If you've been charged with a serious crime, including DWI, and are okay hiring a cheap lawyer to walk into court, get a recommendation from the prosecutor, and plead you guilty - without conducting a thorough investigation, without aggressively defending your rights and protecting your interests, and without giving you the option of your day in court to force a prosecutor to prove the case against you, to have a chance to protect your criminal record, freedom, and life - then I'm NOT the criminal defense attorney for you.. If you're the victim of an automobile accident or other personal injury caused by some irresponsible or malicious person or entity, and you're fine hiring a lawyer whose only intention is to negotiate a quick settlement - even when this means accepting pennies on the dollar and preventing you from receiving fair compensation for your harms - then again, I'm NOT the attorney for you.. I'm a trial attorney, as is each of my fellow attorneys at the award-winning law firm of the Eccher Law Group. What this means is that my clients are not forced to plead guilty to a crime, or to accept a low-ball settlement offer for their injuries, because of my reluctance or fear of having to represent them at trial in front of a jury of their peers. I am ready, willing, and able to handle every aspect of a case - from start to finish - even if this means taking it to trial in order to demand justice for my clients. Based on my experience, I believe that this willingness and ability to competently and skillfully try cases also results in better recommendations (in criminal cases) and settlement offers (in civil cases).. If you're facing a criminal charge or have been injured by someone else - or know a friend or family member dealing with either of these - I welcome you to call or email me or my firm for a free case review. We'll fight for you.". The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely on advertisements. Past results afford no guarantee of future results. Every case must be judged on its own merits.

Originally from Northern Minnesota, I have always committed myself to defending the rights of all Americans. This began with joining United States Marine Corps Infantry and fighting in Afghanistan. Upon my return home, I began to put my experience to good use as I trained for a new battlefield, the courtroom.. After attending my hometown college, Bemidji State University, I came to Michigan to attend law school at Michigan State University College of Law. While at MSU Law, I was fortunate to participate in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. The two-year program trained me in the specific skills required for successful trial advocacy. During that period, I also gained experience by clerking at several firms. I used those opportunities to study various areas of the legal profession, honing my research and written advocacy skills.. Since my acceptance to the Michigan Bar Association in 2009, I have been defending the accused as a member of the Barone Defense Firm. In my time with the BDF, I have represented hundreds of clients, filed countless motions, conducted extensive trials, and won impressive victories. I have fought diligently to represent the best interests of my clients both in and out of court. It is my goal to provide to my clients the type of representation I would want if placed in their shoes. It is a point of pride to not only be knowledgeable, but available. It does not do my clients any good if I know and understand what is going on and they do not.. With the BDF, I also handle the driver's license restorations for the firm. I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of clients safely return to the road. With my representation, many who had been denied on multiple attempts have finally cleared their last hurdle and those making a first attempt have been spared precious years without driving.. No matter the accusation, I am here to fight for you.
I will do everything in my power to get my clients the best possible outcome. I study both the science and case law surrounding all of the facts and circumstances of my client's cases in order to have the most ammo to fight with. You can always reach me 24/7 with your questions and concerns.
