A notable event from this clinic position was her assignment  to a very complex Probate case where the estate was valued at over $2 million dollars.  As a result of the complexity of the case, Yvette received special permission from the Law School Dean to continue into the Spring semester in the Legal Clinic, making her the Senior Student Attorney in the Wills, Probate, and Guardianship Legal Clinic. Through her hard work and dedication, she was able to get a large settlement in favor of her client.. After working for a few years in the oil industry, Ron began practicing law in San Antonio in 1982. He focused primarily on worker's compensation cases for the first several years of his practice. Ron then focused his practice for several years in insurance litigation, including issues involving insurance bad faith and deceptive insurance practices.
