I James attended Wayne State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.. I serving as a law enforcement officer for a number of years.  I determined that the real way for him to make a difference was to help people understand the intricacies of the law through legal representation. He returned to Wayne State to pursue a degree in law, graduating in 2000.. I started my own law practice in 2003. Through the respect of his peers, gracious referrals from past clients and an extraordinary reputation, my legal practice continues to grow.  I have great respect for the Downriver community where he was born and raised and stay involved as a Riverview resident, where I was involved as multitude of activities, including as baseball and football coach, sports and band booster, active boat club member and volunteer with various charitable organizations.. I am a member of the Detroit Metro Bar Association, Downriver Bar Association, Criminal Defense Association of Michigan and former member of the 33rd District Court Sobriety Program.
