After graduating from Brigham Young University, Peter attended Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut, where he graduated with Honors. While at QU, Peter was repeatedly ranked at the top of the class.. In addition to his current practice, Peter’s practical experience includes serving as extern corporate counsel for Shiseido, one of the world’s largest cosmetic corporations, and clerking for federal criminal appellate counsel.  He has extensive experience in family law matters.  He enjoys feeling like he has made a difference helping his clients with their domestic case needs.  He has practiced in courts all along the Wasatch Front, from Logan to Provo.. Peter is an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and Scouter. While at BYU he helped establish Camp Kesem, a weeklong summer camp for children whose parents have or had cancer, and is always looking for ways to give back to the community. He has a wonderful wife, two amazing sons, and two beautiful daughters.

Scott Nickle graduated from the Gonzaga University School of Law in 2006. It wasn't until after Scott had taught English at Weber State University for 4 years that he decided to attend law school.  He started as an intern for Helgesen, Houtz & Jones after his second year of law school, after graduating he returned as an attorney.. Scott Nickle specializes in Family Law and Estate Planning. He has dealt with many cases in all areas of family law from Divorce to Surrogacy. Because of his experience he can provide his clients with the help they are searching for. He has also represented many clients being faced with criminal charges in both the Juvenile and Adult Courts.. Scott and his wife reside in Kaysville. Attorney Kenneth W. Burton was admitted to practice law in the State of Utah in 2002. I was born in the Territory of Alaska, grew up in Logan, Utah and graduated from Utah State University with degrees in economics and Spanish in 1978.  During high school I lived for a year in Quito Ecuador, and during college I served a two-year mission in Spain for the LDS Church.  After finishing law school in Washington, D.C. in December of 1980, I returned to Logan and engaged in private practice, mostly litigation, for five years, with mentorship and guidance from my father, David Daines, Sr.  From 1985 to 1997 I practiced in Houston, Texas in a variety of settings, engaged primarily in civil litigation.  I returned to Logan again in 1997 and have continued in private practice, civil litigation, but this time with a focus on serving clients in contested family law cases.

Erin received her Juris Doctor degree on May 13, 2011 from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, and passed the July 2011 Utah Bar Exam.. Erin first entered the legal field in April 2006, as a paralegal for the law firm of Bearnson & Peck, L.C. in Logan, Utah. Up until leaving the law firm in July 2008 to attend law school, Erin assisted each attorney of Bearnson & Peck in drafting estate planning and business documents. Erin returned to Bearnson & Peck as a Law Clerk between her second and third years of law school in 2010, and accepted a position as a law clerk with Bearnson & Caldwell, LLC when the firm opened its doors. Erin is now an Associate Attorney with Bearnson & Caldwell after receiving her license to practice law. She now practices in the areas of Worker's Compensation, Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Landlord/Tenant Law, Business Entity Formation, Commercial Transactions, and Estate Planning.. During law school, Erin participated in several internships and clinics, including the following: the Pro Bono Initiative’s Guadalupe Legal Clinic; the Pro Bono Initiative’s Family Law Clinic; a Judicial Clinic with Judge Bruce Lubeck in the Third District Court of Utah, Silver Summit; a Civil Clinic with Guardian ad Litem in the Third Judicial District of Utah; and a year-long Prosecutor Clinic with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.. Erin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Utah State University, with a minor in History, in addition to a Certificate in Law and Constitutional Studies. Erin received her Juris Doctor degree on May 13, 2011, passed the July 2011 Utah Bar Exam, and was sworn into the Utah Bar on October 31, 2011.. Erin was born in Coos Bay, Oregon and was raised in western Washington prior to joining the United States Marine Corps immediately after graduating high school. After completing her contract with the Marine Corps, Erin moved to Logan, Utah to attend Utah State University. Erin met her husband, Troy, in 2005, and they have remained in Logan where Troy was raised. In her free time, Erin enjoys camping, hunting, four wheeling, knitting, zumba, and spending time with her family and friends.

My professional career started in Accounting as a Senior Accountant.  I began my legal creer in 1995 in the Domestic Relations arena, and have utilized a collaborative law foundation in my practice as an Attorney and Mediator  In addition I have served for a few years as an Adjunct Professor for Paralegal Studies, and in Juvenile Court for 20 years as court appointed conflict counsel for indigent parents who had their child removed.

Nonie Ferguson is a managing partner of Just Law, LLC. Nonie has been a practicing attorney since graduating from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2012. Post law school, Nonie practiced in the area of criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, Florida. Nonie started her career  at the Public Defenders Office representing alleged juvenile offenders in the juvenile justice system in Florida. Thereafter, Nonie was promoted to the felony criminal trial division and represented accused first, second, and third degree felony offenders. Nonie's time as a litigation attorney with the Public Defender's office has garnered her with an immense amount of trial, litigation, negotiation and legal writing experience.. In February of 2016 Nonie moved from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Utah and and began working for the Utah Administrative Office of the Courts as their Domestic Violence Program Coordinator. As the Domestic Violence Program Coordinator, Nonie was a point of contact for Judges, Commissioners, court staff, and court patrons on all domestic violence related issues. Nonie assisted in developing and interpreting policies, procedures, rules and regulations as they applied to the courts and domestic violence. She also created and implemented state wide trainings for Utah Judges on relevant domestic violence and family law statutory changes, case law changes and policy changes. While working with the Administrative Office of the Courts Nonie was studying for the Utah Bar Exam. After she successfully passed the Utah Bar Exam, Nonie accepted a position as an Associate Attorney with Just Law, bringing her trial advocacy and negotiation skills with her for her clients. Nonie is now a managing partner of Just Law, LLC.. Nonie is a zealous advocate and is dedicated to the practice of law and helping others. Laja is an experienced attorney having practiced law for over 20 years. She received her bachelor's degree from Scripps College in California and obtained her law degree from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. She was a former prosecutor in the Arizona handling major crimes in the family violence unit. She has also served as a City Prosecutor in Colorado handling cases involving abused and neglected children. She has had a private practice in both Arizona and Colorado representing adults and juveniles in criminal, juvenile, civil and appellate matters. She is thrilled to have opened a practice here in Utah serving the residents of Park City and the surrounding areas. She brings knowledge, compassion and dedication to every case she handles.

A native of Park City, Utah, Rebecca Ross joined Miller Law Group in 2016. After graduating from the University of Montana with Honors in Psychology and English, she returned to Park City to attend law school at the University of Utah. During her law school tenure, Rebecca served as judicial intern for the Honorable Keith Kelly, as an editor for the Journal of Law and Family Studies and President of the Women’s Law Caucus, worked extensively with Utah Juvenile Defender Attorneys, representing juvenile delinquency clients in Salt Lake County, and published a Note in the Journal of Law and Family Studies highlighting issues with domestic violence prosecutions in Utah’s Justice courts, titled Because There Won’t Be a “Next Time”: Why Justice Court is an Inappropriate Forum for Domestic Violence Cases.  13 J.L. FAM. STUD. 329 (2011).. Rebecca’s unique education and background in psychology and social work serves her clients well as they navigate the difficult emotional processes resulting from the legal system, particularly in criminal and family law matters.  In addition to her drive and passion for achieving thoughtful resolutions for her clients, Rebecca remains active in the community. She is currently President of both the Park City Bar Association and the Community for Children’s Justice, a non-profit supporting the Summit County Children’s Justice Center, and was a member of Park City Leadership Class XXIII.
