I have been in private practice in the area of family law and domestic violence since 2008.    Prior to my private practice, I worked for five and a half years for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program at the San Diego Family Justice Center, where I represented victims of domestic violence at restraining order hearings and for custody, visitation, child and spousal support.  I was also a member of the San Diego County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team and served as chair of the San Diego Domestic Violence Council Legal Subcommittee.  In addition to my law degree, I also have a Master’s degree in Social Work.

He previously worked for the Sonoma County District Attorney and the Child Support Department, before starting his own law practice. Over time he chose to narrow down his practice to the area of family law, because he felt he had a more direct impact with his clients in this area of the law.. I have been practicing family law since 1997. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Bar Association.
