I’ve chosen the areas of law for my practice which allow me to help everyday people with their legal problems in the way I would want to be helped if I were in their position. Litigation, in particular, is extremely stressful and very costly. Sometimes, it is the only way to resolve the issues at hand, other times it is not. With that in mind, I work to help my clients look at their situations in different ways and together, approach the case/matter by comparing the client’s goals with the available processes. This approach frequently allows my clients to resolve their legal matters to their satisfaction, in a way they had never considered and with a sense of peace.

I an associate family law attorney with The Family Law Firm of Donna J. Smiedt. I received my juris doctor and graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and am a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Tarrant County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. I handle all types of family law cases, including: adoptions, child custody disputes, CPS litigation, child support issues, divorces, grandparents’ rights, premarital agreements, spousal support, and visitation rights.

Angela N. Nicewonder attended law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston after receiving her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Upon receiving her license to practice law, Ms. Nicewonder opened her own law firm focused primarily on family law matters, such as divorces, child support and custody issues, and adoptions. After two years as a solo practictioner, Ms. Nicewonder became an associate attorney at Cynthia Tracy, Attorney at Law, P.C. where she focused exclusively on family law matters and gained even more knowledge with regard to strategy and procedure in the litigation process..
