Meshi Chitrit is a first-generation American attorney. At ten years old she decided to become the first attorney in her family for a simple reason: to help people in need. Knowing that she wanted to pursue Family Law, Meshi spent her pre-law school time working for families as a babysitter, Camp Counselor, and Teacher's Assistant for elementary-age children. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside, cum laude with a B.A. in English and then earned her J.D. in just two years at Southwestern Law School. In law school, Meshi volunteered at Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center and the Harriett Buhai Center For Family Law. She also clerked for the Honorable Judge Amy Pellman (Ret). at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles. During her free time, Meshi enjoys learning languages. Besides English, she speaks Hebrew and French fluently. Additionally, with varying degrees of fluency, she knows Spanish, Romanian, Latin, Russian, German, Chinese Mandarin, Arabic, Yiddish, and Farsi. Meshi also enjoys writing novels—she's written eight and had three published (so far).
