Kaitlyn also worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward T. I am excited to work in Buffalo, Minnesota - the town where I attended high school.  After high school I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities for my undergraduate degree and completed law school at the University of North Dakota.  Following law school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to clerk for the North Dakota Supreme Court in Bismarck, North Dakota.. After my clerkship, things came full circle and I was eager to get started with the law firm of Carlson & Jones.  Since joining Carlson & Jones in 2010, my practice has largely focused on family law, including divorce, child custody, adoption, child support and paternity.. I work hard to meet the needs of my clients and to help families through some of their most difficult times.

Heath Wells grew up in Bonners Ferry, Idaho where his family has been living for generations. In his youth, he learned to appreciate two very important things in his life: hard work and outdoor recreation. After completing a degree in Agriculture and a short career working as an agronomist, he decided that his future was headed in a different direction. He then applied for and accepted an offer from Gonzaga University School of Law.. Heath is married to his lovely wife Jennifer, a local chiropractor and together they own a small horse ranch in Post Falls. In his free time Heath loves traveling with his wife and seeing new places, especially national and state parks around the country. He is also an avid sportsman and can often be found far back in the mountains chasing elk.. As a born and raised “Idahoan”, Heath believes that the northwest is genuinely an amazing place to live and will work tirelessly to help the people that live here have the life that they deserve. Weston J. Burke is an associate at Beard St. Clair Gaffney, and a member of the firm’s litigation team. Weston’s areas of practice include family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, and probate.. Weston is a lifelong Idahoan, born and raised in Southeast Idaho. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Idaho State University, and then attended the University of Idaho, College of Law. During law school, Weston served as a Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review. He was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his academic efforts, and was a multi-time member of the Dean’s List.. Weston graduated from law school in 2022, and was admitted to practice law in Idaho’s state courts and in the United States District Court of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association. He returned to Southeast Idaho following graduation to serve his community.. Weston and his wife, Jasmine, proudly share a daughter and son. In his free time, Weston enjoys sports, and spending time with his family.
