Ben W. Lieberman is an attorney licensed to practice law in Utah and Colorado. He holds a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from Boston University, a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Denver, and a master’s degree in business administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Denver. Ben graduated in the top 2% of his law school class and was inducted as a member of the Order of St. Ives honor society. He was also an editor of the law review.. Ben began his legal career working for The Honorable John L. Kane, United States District Judge for the District of Colorado and later for The Honorable Thomas M. Joanie has handled family law cases since 1995. She is AFCC (Association of Family and Conciliation Courts) trained. She is on the approved list of Private Guardians ad Litem for the State of Utah, where she advocates for children. She has litigated in all of the state’s judicial districts and will guide you through your options going forward. She has expertise in custody disputes, family-owned business litigation, property disputes, alimony, child support, guardianships, and adoptions. Solving the important problems of my clients requires all 28 years of my experience, careful research and creative analysis. Understanding a client's goals helps me prioritize my work. To help me accomplish these three goals, I need clients to keep good records and to bring the records they have for my review. When clients cannot solve their problems without court intervention, I want to find the most effective way to get the relief the client needs. Outside of the office I have had a long tenure working on a local and district level with the Boy Scouts of America and three of our sons and I have our Woodbadge beads. I have also volunteered in the Salt Lake public schools on various committees. I enjoy playing tennis with my wife and practicing musical instruments with my children. Going to and from the office I often listen to recorded literary works or college lectures.

Jake graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from BYU in April 2003 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2005. Jake served as the judicial law clerk to Judge T. Arthur Ritchie, Jr., the (then) presiding judge of the 8th District Court, Family Division, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has practiced law since 2006, is licensed in Nevada and Utah, and has developed a reputation for being steadfast in advocating his clients' interests.
