I practice Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, and Business Law in the Los Angeles area.. I specialize in designing and drafting estate plans, analyzing taxable events, restructuring and consolidating assets, preparing asset protection trusts and administering trusts. I have often been called upon to create strategies to preserve client assets and design gifting plans to utilize the estate and gift tax exemption. I also have previous experience in planning for VA and Medi-Cal benefits, as well as resolving Medi-Cal estate recovery matters. My goal as an Attorney is to make the estate planning process as painless as possible. I takes pride in providing my clients with a supportive environment while guiding them to the appropriate plan to meet their goals.. I have been practicing in the Pasadena area for the past 12 years.  My practice started in the area of bankruptcy, tax controversy, corporate and entity formation, and estate planning. It evolved into a litigation practice dealing with all aspects of civil litigation, from construction defect to partnership disputes, both in state and federal court.  Eventually, I found a niche in the family law, estate planning, and probate fields with continued interest in representing consumers. My staff and I pride ourselves for our prompt responsiveness and attention to the client beyond their immediate needs, thus providing a solution oriented legal practice.

Mr. Everett focuses his practice exclusively on estate planning, probate and trust and estate related litigation. Prior to joining Primuth & Driskell, LLP as Senior Counsel in 2017, Mr. Everett worked at the international law firm of McDermott, Will and Emery and Anglin Flewelling Rasmussen Campbell & Trytten LLP (AFRCT), handling a wide variety of estate planning and probate matters.. Mr. Everett earned his juris doctor from Syracuse University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and earned a certificate in estate planning. After law school, Mr. Everett obtained an LLM in estate planning from the University of Miami Heckerling School of Law.. In addition to his activities as an attorney, Nicholas coaches Special Olympics with his wife, Ali, and serves on the board for multiple nonprofit organizations, including as President of Monrovia Providers Group, an organization serving the aging population of the San Gabriel foothills region..
