A native Rhode Islander, I have been practicing law since 2002. I started my career as an associate in a small Providence law firm representing lenders in residential and commercial real estate closings, assisting clients in starting their small businesses and counseling them through the many facets of business ownership. While there, I discovered my passion was in Estate Planning and Elder Law. So in 2008, I started this practice. Since then, I have devoted my practice to helping families make some of the most difficult decisions they can face from who will raise their children in the event of an unfortunate occurrence, to how they will afford nursing home care for aging loved ones. Kristen continues to work with small businesses making sure personal assets are protected from corporate liability and that the business can be passed down easily to future generations.. I am licensed to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut state courts, as well as, the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. I earned my B.A., magna cum laude, in Accounting from Assumption College in 1999 and my Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2002. I am a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and serve on the East Greenwich Historic District Commission. My family and I reside in East Greenwich, RI.
