I am a Washington-native, and am very happy to be back "home" after living in Nevada for a decade.  As a practicing attorney, I am in my third career, which followed a decade in advertising sales and then another career in the environmental field.  Both prior careers prepared me for my legal practice.  In advertising sales, I learned to comfortably communicate with anyone and everyone and to listen to my client's needs. In the environmental and regulatory field, I learned the art of negotiating and the importance of meeting numerous and competing deadlines. Earning an Executive MBA from the Foster School of Business was a bucket list item I completed in 2015, which I believe makes me more valuable to my corporate clients.. Currently I split my time between Las Vegas and the greater Puget Sound area. My legal practice is primarily transactional in nature, and I prefer to help my clients stay out of the courtroom and avoid expensive litigation by properly preparing their contracts and other business dealings.. I fill my "spare time" with family, friends, and my beautiful dog, Joy. I volunteer for a number of charitable organizations, and I love cooking, Zumba classes and weight lifting!. Oh ... and by the way ... my clients are important to me, and I return their phone calls!

I concentrate my practice in Elder Law, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Estate and Trust Planning, Estate Administration, Asset Preservation and Protection, Disability and Special Needs Planning, Guardianship, and Medicaid.. Born and raised in Cranford, New Jersey, I earned my Undergraduate Honors Degree in Psychology at Seton Hall University and my Law Degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. At Wake Forest University School of Law, I was selected to partake in the Elder Law Clinic, which provides free legal services to low-income residents of Forsyth County, North Carolina. During my time in the Elder Law Clinic, I made it a priority to assist disenfranchised voters to obtain ID cards so that they could vote. At the Elder Law Clinic, I gained invaluable experience with the substantive laws affecting the elderly, including Guardianship and Medicaid.. Before and while attending law school, I worked in the elder care field for approximately seven years, holding various jobs at an Assisted Living Facility. I gained invaluable experience while working at the Assisted Living Facility, having been immersed in the day-to-day life of elders and their common problems and concerns. It was this experience that led me to devote his life to Elder Law.. I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
