While some find it hard to believe, I am actually Cuban/American. My dad immigrated from Cuba, and my mom is from the mid west and a bit of German/Irish. So, DeDe, which most people know me by is actually my nickname! So now a bit about my background. I established the Soto Law Group so I could dedicate myself to the needs of families and business owners, either through the Estate Planning process by protecting families or via Probate, Special Needs Trust, Conservatorships and even Trust Disputes.  I have a broad background of legal experience, from early on where I started practicing in family law and business litigation, and later when I developed an extensive real estate expertise. Here at the Soto Law Group, we serve the entire community of Estate Planning. From establishing a Trust, Will, Power of Attorney for families and to those families that find themselves in Probate, when a love one has passed.  We also guide family members that find themselves in a dispute over a Trust as a Trustee or beneficary. Incorporating my business knowledge and real estate expertise with my passion for coaching and teaching I wanted to make a difference in the lives I touched, and bring invaluable services to my clients. I had always believed that traditional estate planning, which implies, and often focuses only on, financial wealth and taxation was too limited and short-sighted. I believe it’s not only about passing on financial wealth, but also intellectual, spiritual and human wealth. On a personal note, I have a Chihuahua, named “Noodle” and I am  dedicated to assisting and protecting families and enjoy volunteering at the church I attend in Irvine. I have an undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton, with a major in Psychology and my Juris Doctor from Western State University School of Law. I have done continuing education at Chapman Law School and U.C. Irvine.

After attending law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law, Nicolas worked for Abowitz, Timberlake & Dahnke, P.C., a highly-respected firm in central Oklahoma. While there, he gained considerable experience in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation, intellectual property rights, contract interpretation and enforcement and general tort liability.. Nicolas was also afforded the opportunity to serve as staff counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company before deciding to move back to Branson with his wife, Lindsay. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, running and hiking southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.

Cameron was born and raised in Missouri. He grew up in Springfield and attended Evangel University graduating with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Pre-Law. After graduation, Cameron attended law school in Virginia Beach, VA at Regent University School of Law with a focus in Estate Planning and Elder Law. Cameron’s legal internships included working with a large law firm; clerking for The Honorable Judge Der-Yeghiayan, a United States Federal District Court Judge in Chicago, Illinois; and spending the summer of 2010 interning at the law offices of R. Clancy Parks, Attorney at Law. 2011 marked the time Cameron joined the law firm as a licensed attorney. Larry Fraser, a native of Springfield, Missouri, received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Drury University in 1991. In 1994, Mr. Fraser received his Doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law.  Following law school, Mr. Fraser returned to Springfield as an Associate with the law firm of Bussell, O’Neal & Hall.  In 1996, Mr. Fraser started his own solo firm in Springfield and in 2001 moved his office to Christian County.   He has been of counsel with the Courtney Law Firm and Neale & Newman.  Mr. Fraser’s primary areas of practice are estate planning and business organizations.  He has presented numerous seminars on the topics of trusts and estate planning.

Charles Moore has practiced law all over the United States.  He began his career in Southern California in 2005.  A few years later, he moved across the country to practice law in the Princeton, New Jersey area.  He has always practiced primarily in the estate planning / probate and elder law field, along with having significant experience in representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust litigation matters.  This has been by design since he is passionate about these practice areas.. In 2009, Charles took a great opportunity to move back home to St. Louis, Missouri and open his own practice, Legacy Law Center.. The firm has two locations.  The main office is in St. Charles, Missouri.  The second office is about 15 minutes west in the Winghaven neighborhood of O'Fallon, Missouri.. Legacy Law Center is a full service estate planning, probate and elder law practice.. Charles also owns a second firm called the Traffic Ticket Center, which narrowly focuses on traffic / DWI / license suspenion and minor criminal defense and was opened in 2014.. He is married and lives in St. Charles County.  He and his wife are avid travelers and Charles has been to a dozen countries, with hopes of eventually visiting at least 75.  He is an avid photographer and his office is covered with his work.

Carrie Schormann focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration and estate and trust litigation for families. Her experience includes all types of basic and advanced estate planning, formation of business entities, private foundations and charitable trusts. Carrie prepares estate and gift tax returns and other fiduciary tax returns for her clients. She also represents personal representatives and trustees in connection with estate and trust administration matters.. Carrie works collaboratively with other professionals (such as accountants and financial advisors) so that the client’s needs are met in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
