Kristel is a past president of the Chandler Horizon Rotary Club.. In addition to Arizona, Kristel is also licensed to practice in both Arkansas and Missouri, and is a proud member of WealthCounsel, a national network of estate planning attorneys;  the Arizona, Arkansas and Missouri state bar associations; and the East Valley Estate Planning Council.. Kristel grew up in the small town of Seneca, Missouri.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in History at the University of Kansas, and then continued on to the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville to obtain her Juris Doctorate.. Kristel and her husband Carlos, have two children.  In addition, Kristel and her family enjoy the furry companionship of their Weimaraner, Maya.  When she is not working, you can find Kristel spending time with her family, cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, crafting, or at the bark park with her dog.

Trevor S. Whiting is a founding attorney, along with Matt Dana, of DANA WHITING LAW. Trevor successfully handles the estate and income tax issues related to dealing with out-of-state fiduciaries or trusts and estates owning property in multiple jurisdictions. Trevor has spent his legal career working with individual clients with regards to their estate and business planning needs. Prior to the founding of DANA WHITING LAW, Trevor spent three years in the estate planning group in the Phoenix office of a national law firm. Before that, he was a partner in the Dana Law Firm, which was established by Matt Dana in 1989. A native Arizonan, Trevor attended law school at Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey. Following graduation, he worked in the New York City office of Deloitte Tax LLP, where he assisted corporate and partnership clients with complex tax transactions and multistate income tax compliance issues. Trevor was born and raised in the White Mountains in Eastern Arizona. Growing up in the small, rural community of Eagar/Springerville, he learned to love spending time in the outdoors. Trevor and his wife, Anaclea, have five daughters, so Trevor has spent his time as a father trying to convince his girls to love football, wakeboarding, camping, the ASU Sun Devils, and Arizona Cardinals as much as he does. He must be a doing a pretty good job because his daughters try their best to make him proud and be daddy's girls. Or, maybe it it's because Anaclea is the best wife and pushes the girls to try to make their dad happy.

Chad Smith primarily practices in estate planning and probate law. He works closely with individuals and families throughout the state to assist in establishing their estate plan. His primary goal is to give them the peace of mind knowing that their estate is in order. He also meets with family members whose loved ones have passed and represents them throughout the probate process. He makes a substantial effort to ensure that they are helped through this difficult time.. Chad also represents public sector employees throughout the state in administrative matters. He focuses on assisting members of law enforcement through their administrative and criminal proceedings related to their employment. Chad also travels to union lodges throughout the state to conduct trainings and presentations regarding the rights of law enforcement.. Additionally, Chad assists former homeowners recover excess proceeds after a foreclosure of their property. He has filed into hundreds of civil cases and has collected millions for previous homeowners who have lost their housing due to a foreclosure. Chad recognizes that these homeowners are going through a difficult time and need help getting back on their feet. He ensures that their rights are protected and that they are able to claim the money that is owed to them.. Chad is licensed to practice in the state of Arizona in both the Superior Court and the District Court of Arizona. Chad attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He now lives with his wife and three kids in Phoenix.

I was a Legal Assistant for 13 years before starting law school, working in the area of estate planning, probate, guardianship/conservatorship, and tax.. Prior to law school I worked as a corporate acountant for a major computer software firm.. I have two grown children and four grandchildren.
