John E. Moore, III  graduated from Vero Beach High School and earned his undergraduate degree in accounting, with highest honors, from the University of Notre Dame in 1982.  Following work as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas, Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school he served as President of the Law School and was named the Outstanding Graduate in the Class of 1986. After a period of private practice in Washington, from 1991 to 1993 he served in a series of presidentially appointed positions within the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.  His tenure saw service as Deputy Federal Housing Commissioner in which position his responsibilities included management of the national operations of the Federal Housing Administration.  In 1993, Mr. Moore returned to his home town of Vero Beach.  Since that time, his practice has focused in the areas of estate planning and administration and related issues. Both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Moore has been a member of the Florida Bar and District of Columbia Bar since 1986 and is a member of the Real Property and Trust Section of the Florida Bar.  Mr. Moore is a frequent continuing legal education and motivational speaker, presenting programs on practice management, personal development, charitable planning, as well as financial, taxation and estate planning matters to bar associations, law firms and charitable organizations in 22 states and two Canadian provinces.Mr. Moore has served a variety of community organizations in Vero Beach.  He has served as non-partisan elected trustee of the Indian River County Hospital District which oversees indigent medical care and hospital operations in Indian River County.  He has also served as Indian River County’s Affordable Housing Advocate and a member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Commission to the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. Mr. Moore worked to establish the Community Service Ministry and Men’s Ministry of The Holy Cross Catholic Church and has been a director of numerous local charitable organizations.  His work in the community has been recognized with various community-wide service awards.  Mr. Moore is a scuba diver, private pilot, sailor and golfer; he currently serves as a pilot in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Married to Lee Robinson Moore, the Moores have three children.

Todd W. Fennell was born in Vero Beach, Florida and co-chairs the Estate Planning and Tax Group at Gould Cooksey Fennell and focuses his practice on sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families.  In addition, Mr. Fennell's areas of concentration include complex estate planning and probate administration, family office administration,  corporate and partnership tax, business formation, business acquisition and sale, and charitable planning.  He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system, the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer.  Mr. Fennell also serves as the firm's Managing Partner.. Mr. Fennell graduated with high honors from the University of Florida College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor degree and graduate law degree (LL.M) in Taxation. While attending law school, he earned several honors and awards including membership into the Order of the Coif, the Irving Cypen Scholastic Achievement Award and the Richard B. Stevens Scholar Recipient. Mr. Fennell served as the Chief Tax Editor and Assistant Executive Editor of the University of Florida Law Review.  Upon graduation, Mr. Fennell practiced in the tax department at the large commercial law firm of Trenam Kemker in Tampa, Florida.. Mr. Fennell is admitted to practice before the tax court of the United States. He is also a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, the Tax Section and Real Property and Probate Section of the Florida Bar, the Indian River County Bar Association and the Indian River Estate Planning Council. He is also a frequent lecturer on the issues of estate tax and planning and probate and trust administration.. In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Fennell is actively involved as a board member of various charitable and civic organizations including the Planned Giving Council of Indian River, Inc., the Environmental Learning Center Foundation, Inc., and the Fighting Indians Football Boosters, Inc.

Nicholas Bruce is a member of the Collins Brown’s Trusts and Estate Group. His practice is focused on probate and trust administration, probate litigation, tax and estate planning, and business and real estate transactions. Mr. Bruce represents individuals in structuring their estate plans to reduce tax liability and increase asset protection. He also represents individuals and financial institutions with fiduciary administration matters.. Nick graduated from Furman University with a degree in Management of Information Systems. In 2008, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University, where he was inducted into the National Order of Barristers – a national honor society recognizing excellence in advocacy. He then graduated from Boston University with a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation. In 2014 and 2015, he was listed among Florida’s “Rising Stars”, which identifies the top 2.5% of attorneys in Florida under age 40, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Super Lawyers. He also has lectured at continuing education seminars on topics ranging from basic probate administration to complex tax minimization planning and the ethical duties of estate planning attorneys.. Nick is past President of the Indian River County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. He is a member of the Indian River Estate Planning Counsel and Indian River Community Foundation Future Leaders Council. He is a member of the Tax and Real Property and Probate Sections of the Florida Bar Association, and the Indian River County Bar Association.. When Nick isn't working he is usually at home with his wife Christina and two year olds twins, although he occasionally tries to play golf.
