Although originally from Long Island, I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia.  After attending the University of Virginia and the Charleston School of Law, I was happy to return to the Tidewater area to begin my legal career.  I love the work that I do as an associate at Foley & Foley, P.C.  From employment work to family law, I find deep satisfaction in working closely with individuals to successfully resolve their legal issues.. Community outreach is exceptionally important to me.  I am a member of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association and serve on the Bench Bar Committee.  In addition, I am actively involved with the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management and am on the board of the Ghent Dog Park Association.. I enjoy helping people handle their legal matters affordably. My entire career has been focused on offering low flat fees to people for divorce, legal separation, annulment and other family law matters. Often people come to us after having tried to handle their legal matters on their own and are lost. We amend petitions when needed and complete the process when we are able to do so. It's always rewarding when people begin to understand the court process and find a way to move forward. I also prepare Estate Planning documents for affordable rates and help people understand how to protect themselves and their family.. In addition, I have been practicing Probate law for over 40 years. In this area, I advise clients about the distribution of assets that may be needed when a family member has passed. When a Probate is needed, I explain the process in the court and guide the client with regard to the decisions that have to be made.. Aside from the law, I have always been interested in sports, especially basketball and tennis. I played Division I basketball for the University of Rhode Island. Later I took up tennis and helped coach my son who played number 1 at Columbia and played professional tennis for several years around the globe.. I also enjoy reading historical non-fiction and have completed books on John Adams, Roosevelt/Taft and Napoleon.. I work with my wife Brenda who handles the marketing for my law firm.

Kimber was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she learned to love the heat. (It’s a dry heat!) She developed a passion for storytelling and in 2015 graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies and Sociology. Kimber began working at the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2013, covering stories about local crime and the courts. She wrote several stories about child abuse and domestic violence, which sparked her desire to become an attorney and do more for voiceless Southern Nevada communities.. Kimber attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV as a full-time student beginning in 2016 while continuing to work part-time at the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
