Carmen was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2020, and her practice includes family law, criminal law, business formation, and contract review.. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as a student ambassador and acted as the American Bar Association Representative for the university. She also earned a Certificate in Public Interest Law, focusing her coursework on criminal, domestic and juvenile law classes.. Prior to law school, Carmen graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2017 with a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and a minor in Business.

I was raised in Marion, Alabama, and began my education at Judson College. After earning a Bachelor’s degree, I attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and Brock School of Business to earn a joint JD/MBA. I am a licensed Title Insurance agent. I have worked with several attorneys with various backgrounds, and have gained knowledge and understanding for unique domestic, real estate, and estate planning issues. I am married to a U.S. Army officer and we have three daughters. When I'm not working at the firm, I enjoy volunteering around my community and spending time with family and friends.

I have a diverse legal background having represented clients in criminal, personal injury, employment, family law, medical malpractice, and estate planning.I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International and Women Studies. During my undergraduate, I interned with the Washington State Legislature where I worked alongside House Representative Cody on a healthcare bill. I attended law school in Arizona where I acted as ABA Lieutenant Governor and volunteered with the Justice Project and Homeless court. In my last year of law school I published an article for the Psychology and Law Journal.I am an active member of the legal community, I served on the board of the South Asian Bar Association (SABAW) and is chair of the legal clinic and mentor in the Joint Minority Mentorship program. I have partnered with community-based organizations such as API Chaya, Sex Violence Law Center, and Muslim Association of Puget Sound in providing pro-bono services. I also volunteered for the Washington Intiative for Diversity and currently sit on the WSBA Wellness Taskforce.As a former boxer, I bring the same tenacity and determination to the courtroom as I did to the ring. I am deeply committed to fighting in client’s corner, ensuring they are empowered with the proper legal recourse and receive the justice they deserve.

Steven Mastanduno founded the Mastanduno Law Group after graduating from Willamette University College of Law with a certificate in dispute resolution. Over the course of his legal career, Steven has been involved with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, the Willamette University Law & Government Clinic, the St. Andrews Night Clinic, and the Oregon Tax Court. He serves on the Multnomah Bar Association's Service to the Public Committee and is committed to advocating for people who are under represented and providing legal services to people who could not otherwise afford them. He's experienced in diverse legal topics, from administrative to tax law, but focuses on family law in his practice where he regularly represents clients in divorces, child custody disputes, guardianhips, and adoptions. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and camping with my wife and daughter in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I also enjoy making delicious (if unhealthy) baked goods and collecting records, coins and stamps.
