After graduating from Suffolk University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminology and Law, Julie made use of her intuitive troubleshooting skills and creative mind by working for Apple, Inc. as a Lead Creative Trainer in South Florida. A geek by nature, Julie started her own technology consulting and education company, Mac Girl Consulting, in 2008 after she left Apple to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer. In law school, Julie earned the privilege of becoming an Academic Excellence Honors Fellow where she worked with struggling first year law students as a mentor and coach, teaching them the art of being a law student, including life and time management skills, and legal analysis and writing skills.. Julie earned her law degree from New England Law | Boston.. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Mass Bar Association, and attends continuing legal education programs often.. Attorney Lightholder graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998, and received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Western New England University School of Law in 2001.  After being admitted to both the Massachusetts and Connecticut bar, Leslie began her legal career serving as a Judicial Law Clerk, providing legal research and draft decisions to the judges then presiding in the Massachusetts Juvenile and Probate and Family Courts.  She also served for a year as an Assistant Clerk running the Magistrate Court Sessions in the Windham Judicial District of the Connecticut Superior Court.  Leslie’s time spent in these courts helps to give her practice a practical and realistic perspective on the law.  Leslie joined the firm in 2006, and since then has exclusively practiced reproductive law, with a particular focus on gestational carrier agreements and parentage orders.  In 2012, Leslie was named a Partner in the firm.  Most recently, she was invited to author a chapter on surrogacy and gestational carrier arrangements in the 2017 edition of the MCLE (Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education) book: Adoption and Reproductive Technology Law in Massachusetts, which is currently pending publication.. Outside of the office, Leslie and her husband happily have their hands full with their their three children, which includes a set of boy/girl twins, and 2 cats. When not rushing the kids to a dance rehearsal, gymnastics, taekwondo, or to the soccer field, Leslie enjoys baking, watching movies, binge watching TV drama series, and starting knitting projects.

Daniel’s legal experience began while working for one of the fastest growing social security disability law firms in the United States. I am currently an Associate Attorney at Nigro, Pettepit & Lucas, LLP.  While my primary focus has been family law and divorce matters, I have a wide range of experience in civil litigation matters, such as equity complaints, petitions to partition, and estate litigation. I also have experience with real estate transactions, estate planning and drafting, estate administration, and trust accounting.. I began working at Nigro, Pettepit & Lucas, LLP as a legal intern in May 2012, and I continued this position part-time while obtaining my J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. I joined the firm full time upon my graduation from Suffolk University Law School in 2014. I was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November of 2014.. In January 2016, I obtained my certification in Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) in all divisions of the Probate and Family Court.
