I grew up in Beverly Hills where I attended El Rodeo elementary school and Beverly Hills High School. I received my undergraduate degree from George Washington University before earning my Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School. Today, I reside in West Hollywood where I am proud to have established deep roots within the local community.. It was during my first year of law school in 2005 when I developed a keen interest in family law. While working at the American University Civil Practice Clinic as a student attorney, I was responsible for assisting low-income clients with a wide variety of family law issues, including divorce, custody litigation, and child support. I continued to work solely in the family law field throughout the duration of my time in law school, assisting with the day-to-day operations of a small Los Angeles family law firm where I was also responsible for meeting with clients and drafting motions.. Upon graduating law school and being admitted to the California Bar in 2009, I continued to work at this same Los Angeles firm, practicing family law as an associate attorney. In spite of my associate status, I was given my own caseload, and managed each of my cases from Petition to Judgment. This included both preparing for and attending trials as well as drafting Judgments. In 2013, I joined the preeminent Los Angeles female-owned family law firm, Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers (MOLM) as an associate attorney where I continued to manage my own complex family law caseload as well as provide assistance to the partners in family law litigation involving international disputes, jurisdictional issues, high-asset property division, complex custody litigation, and division of community estates.. It is through this experience that I have gained a very deep understanding of the complexity of family matters, often working closely with forensic accountants on complex financial issues including business valuations; support calculations, and various other financial matters. Working closely with mental health professionals, I’ve gained firsthand experience with issues related to custody; including custody evaluations, drafting parenting plans, determining a child's developmental needs, and advanced co-parenting strategies.

Jacqueline Ogrodowicz became an associate at FMBK after her summer in FMBK’s Summer Associate Program in 2014. Her practice focuses exclusively in family law.. Sally was born in New York’s South Bronx and is of Puerto Rican descent. Ms. Castellanos was later raised in West Nyack, New York, a Hudson River community just north of New York City. Sally has a passion for movies and all things Disney, as her father was an over 40 year employee for the Walt Disney Company.. Ms Castellanos attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to study Film and Television Production. Upon graduating from New York University, Ms Castellanos began her career working in the entertainment industry and held a number of positions with companies such as Home Box Office, Inc., Warner Bros. Feature Animation, DMX Music, and John Blair Entertainment.. Sally later pursued her law degree at Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. After relocating to Los Angeles, she completed her law degree at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree in 1997.. After graduating from law school, Sally continued a career in entertainment working in the legal affairs division of Twentieth Century Fox Television and DMX Music, Inc. She also held a number of production office intern positions and was a script reader with production companies such as Robert Redford’s Wildwood Enterprises and Wendy Finerman Productions.. In 2000, Ms Castellanos joined Castellanos & Associates, APLC, alongside her husband and managing partner, Edwin J. Castellanos.
