Abbie received her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and her M.S. in Forensic Psychology, with a concentration in family violence, from Walden University.. Abbie’s practice revolves around conflict resolution, mediation, and legal document drafting. As a family mediator, Abbie brings her training and education in both law and psychology, which helps her navigate difficult and sensitive issues for her clients. I am a certified mediator, and I  mediate cases that involve local governments and public policy issues. I spent 24 years as a local government attorney at the City of Atlanta and Fulton County where I litigated cases in both state and federal courts. In my position as the Fulton County Attorney, I developed a unique skill of working well with political leaders and resolving public policy issues.

My primary focus is on Guardian ad Litem and Protective Order work. I have handled several hundred Domestic Violence protective order cases and dozens of Guardian ad Litem cases, usually involving complex issues.. I am also able to help prepare the legal documents you need in advance of a medical emergency and/or your death.
