Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I received my undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, where I was an active member of the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha.   I received my law degree from South Texas College of Law and began practicing law in 2009.  While at STCL, I was an active member of the Family Law and Probate Society and interned with the school’s Advanced Family Law Clinic, providing pro bono legal services to Houston’s underserviced population.  After being admitted to the Texas Bar, I provided eDiscovery services in finance litigation and government investigation.  My practice now focuses on estate planning, probate matters, family law and guardianship.

I have a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Houston and recieved myJuris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. My article, Section 2036 of the Interal Revenue Code: A Practitioners Guide,  will be published in the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Journal this spring. When not practicing law, I also rock climb and enjoy cooking.
