Amy graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1996. After graduation she worked for several law firms in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, where she gained experience in the areas of employment law, insurance defense, contested guardianship and probate, and other litigation matters. She tried several cases to jury verdict. In addition, she served as an arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration system. She successfully defended clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and the Illinois Department of Labor.. In the fall of 2006 she opened her own firm – Stikovich Legal Counsel. Her goal is to provide excellent representation to individuals, small businesses, small medical practices, and churches/religious institutions.
