Barbara Nuchereno worked with the Law firms of Brown and Kelly from 1987-1990 and then Miserendino, Celniker, Seegert and Estoff from 1990-2000. She practiced  in the areas of matrimonial and family law, estates and trusts, real estate law, contracts, appeals and to a lesser extent criminal and civil litigation. Ms Nuchereno was often appointed to protect the interests of elderly or incapacitated persons by both the Surrogate and the Supreme Courts. From 2000 through 2011 she served as a Family and Supreme Court Law Clerk, Acting Supreme Court Referee and Law Clerk to the Administrative Judge of the 8th Judicial District. In this capacity, she provided research and advice to the Judge, handled pretrial and settlement conferences, reviewed and advised on motions and appeals, wrote judicial decisions, presided over cases, and assisted in court operations. In 2009, Ms Nuchereno was elected to the Amherst Town Board where she served through 2013. This position involved all aspects of municipal operations within Amherst which is one of the largest towns in New York State.  At the end of 2012, she was appointed to the Amherst Industrial Development Agency where she remained through the end of her term.. Ms Nuchereno is now practicing in the areas of  Real Estate Law, Estate Planning and Probate, and Family and Matrimonial Law.  Her offices are located in Williamsville and Ellicottville, NY.  She is a member of the New York and Erie County Bar Associations.
