Katie is an associate attorney practicing primarily in general litigation, media law, and real estate law. I joined the team of Allison MacKenzie in 1992.  I am a native Nevada resident.  I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno and then obtained a law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1990.  I was admitted to practice in Nevada in 1990 and in California in 1991.  I support clients in all types of real estate development, including residential, industrial and commerical developments.  My experience in land use allows me to assist clients with regulations and project permitting before local government entities, state agencies and courts. I am involved with many local legal professional organizations.  I am involved with the Northern Nevada Development Authority, Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, Catholic Community Services of Northern Nevada, and Bishop Manougue High School.

Tyler's areas of law practice include Real Estate law and Estate Planning, as well as general civil grew up on a small family farm near Rapid City, South Dakota and moved to Grand Forks in 2008 to attend the University of North Dakota. He graduated in 2012, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in English along with a minor in History.After a stint in the North Dakota oil fields, Tyler returned to Grand Forks. Interested in pursuing a career in Law, he first started at the Firm in 2013 as an office clerk. In 2014, he began law school and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota in 2017.During law school, Tyler was active in several law school organizations and served as President of the Federalist Society. He also continued his professional relationship with the Firm, working as a law clerk through most of law school.Tyler is active in the community and his local church where he serves on various committees and assists in teaching a college Sunday school class.

Mike Pavlakis was born April 2, 1952, in Ely, White Pine County, Nevada, of Greek immigrant parents. His undergraduate studies were at Chapman College, Orange, California, where he participated in the World Campus Afloat program in the Spring, 1972. Upon graduation in 1974, Mike attended law school at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco, graduating in 1978. Mike's diverse educational background includes a diploma in European Integration from the University of Amsterdam. Mike was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1978, and in the State of Nevada in 1979. He served as a law clerk for Justice Manoukian at the Nevada Supreme Court for one year, 1978-1989. Mike joined the law offices of Allison MacKenzie in 1979, and he now offers expertise in corporate governance, business, real estate, health, and education law. He is respected for his representation of hospitals, health care providers, employers, and school districts, and he is often called upon for general business matters.
