Mr. Moonier received an Associate of Arts degree from Jefferson College before attending the University of Missouri – Columbia, where he majored in political science. During his time in Columbia, he created and served on numerous peer tutoring programs to help college students struggling in the areas of statistics and college algebra.After attending the University of Missouri – Columbia, Mr. Moonier attended and graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in May of 2007. During law school, Mr. Moonier served as a member of the St. Louis University Public Law Review and his Article entitled, “The Legal Game Behind Fantasy Sports: Copyright Protection and the Right of Privacy in Professional Performance Statistics”, was published in first issue of Volume XXVI of the 2007 St. Louis University Public Law Review.Prior to joining the Thurman Law Firm, Mr. Moonier clerked for several law firms and sports agencies throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. After joining the Firm in 2007, Mr. Moonier was made a partner with the Firm in January of 2013. During his time with the firm, Mr. Moonier has gained a wide variety of experience including handling complex real estate transactions, litigating contract disputes, representing municipalities, water supply districts and sewer districts and preparing estate plans. Mr. Moonier currently serves as the President of the Festus/Crystal City Rotary Club and has been named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2013 and 2014.
