Ms. Robinson is an attorney at Justicia Digna.  She is a 2009 graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law and holds a B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.. Ms. Robinson started her legal career in 2008 in the areas of labor and employment law including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, FMLA, employment contracts, employment consultation, and mediation.. In 2011, Ms. Robinson started work in public interest law involving policy, advocacy and lobbying on behalf of low income New Mexican families in the area of health care, including Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act and has been heavily involved in legislative advocacy and government relations. She started with Justicia Digna in April 2013 and looks forward to bringing her expertise to offer dignified and vigorous representation in the areas of immigration, criminal defense, and some employment matters.. Prior to entering the legal field, Ms, Robinson worked in mutual funds and financial services for ten years in the fields of trading assistance, operations, and IT, earning NASD Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses.. Monica has represented clients in all types of immigration cases for over a decade.  She began as an Accredited Representative assisting clients with adjustment of status, family petitions, Naturalizations and U Visa and VAWA petitions.  Today she continues representing immigrant populations as an attorney and has expanded her practice to also include removal defense and other areas of immigration law.. Monica's commitment to working for immigrant families and immigrant rights started in 2002 when she spent two years on the U.S./Mexico border in South Texas as an AmeriCorps volunteer providing "Know Your Rights" presentations to detained immigrants and offering legal support to pro bono attorneys.  Later, as an Accredited Representative in Indiana, she helped to develop a program to assist immigrant victims of crime and domestic violence as they navigated the immigration process. She continues her dedication to the immigrant community where she now resides in Albuquerque, NM.. Monica received her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  During law school she served as the President and Vice President for the Association of Public Interest Law, raising funds and providing resources for students interested in serving in the public interest legal sector.  She also received Clinical Honors and the Dean's Award for significant contribution to the law school community.  She spent a summer of her law school career in Guatemala volunteering with community based organizations focused on indigenous rights.. Monica is married and the couple has three children.  Together they enjoy traveling, spending time in the outdoors and exploring the Southwest.

Mr. Janklow graduated from Tulane University in 2006 with a B.A. in Latin American Studies and obtained his Juris Doctor from tulane University Law School in 2010.  While in law school, Mr. Janklow was a member of the Loyola University New Orleans Immigration Clinic and actively involved in the Tulane Public Interest Law Foundation.  He is skilled in all areas of immigration law and, having spent considerable time in Latin America, speaks Spanish.

Philip J. Hunter joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2016 after working at the firm as a law clerk in 2015. He practices in the fields of Immigration, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury. After obtaining a degree in political science from University of California, Los Angles (UCLA), Mr. Hunter went on went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU.. Mr. Hunter has been a proud resident of Baton Rouge since 2013 and is a native of Alexandria, Louisiana. Throughout his time in Baton Rouge, Mr. Hunter has been active in the community and is pleased to continue helping people of the community through his law practice. He spends half of the week in Jena, Louisiana visiting the LaSalle Detention Facility and practicing in the Jena Immigration Court.
