I was active in athletics and received a scholarship to attend Bluefield College in Bluefield, Virginia. While attending college I played volleyball and softball.. I moved to Sioux City, Iowa in 1997. My husband played baseball for the Sioux City Explorers. I started working as a paralegal, but had my heart set on law school.
