After more than a decade working in the large law firm environment, representing some of the world's largest corporations and insurance companies, I opened Tauzier Law, LLC to provide legal services to all individuals and businesses in need. As a shareholder in one of the largest law firms in the country, I had the opportunity to handle a wide variety of cases. My firm utilizes that experience to providing cost effective representation in those same practice areas while expanding into others that were not always practical. I grew up in Shreveport and graduated high school from Southwood.  After getting my law degree I returned home to practice law with my family.  I have been married since 1999 and we have 3 sons.

He is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Louisiana State University through LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business. Evan received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center, graduating Cum Laude.. In tune with his desire to serve our community, Evan began private practice immediately following graduation and being sworn into the Louisiana Bar. He ‘hung his own shingle’ to help clients who are in need of a trial attorney and, built his career in the court room.. He is a participating member in the Lafayette Bar Association, Paula K. The personal injury legal process is an arduous and sometimes painful journey.. My true work is to employ the resources to assist my clients in coping with physical and emotional trauma.  There is the issue of missed work and providing for your family. There is the issue of choosing trusted medical personnel to aid you in your journey to recovery, along with the mounting bills for these services.  There is the issue of depression from the constant pain you are experiencing, the emotional and psychological impact of being unable to physically perform in the same way you did prior to the accident.. Health problems take a toll on all of your relationships, those with your spouse, your children, your friends, and your co-workers.  These issues are real. They are a part of just about every case I handle.. Every client and every case is unique. I attended Lafayette High School and went on to play football at UL at Lafayette. While playing ball I took my health for granted. Along the way I had numerous injuries, many requiring surgery, and have suffered the permanent repercussions from those operations.   I specialize in personal injury claims because of these experiences.  I will forever be affected by what has happened in my own life and know what it means to have to deal with life altering injuries and conditions..
