If you would’ve told me 10 years ago that I would become a personal injury attorney, I would have laughed.  But here I am – and I absolutely love my job.  Why? As a lawyer I seek to serve as a guide for these people and their families, easing the burden of what can be the most difficult period in a person’s life.. PRACTICE. At OFT Law, I’ve had the opportunity to work on behalf of injured or sickened clients in a wide variety of personal injury cases. Not only is it interesting, but it is also extremely rewarding.  I am inspired by how transformative not only the compensation that I am able to help recover, but also the closure that making a claim against a wrongdoer provides, can be in bettering the lives of clients.. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in psychology in 2012, and obtained my J.D. cum laude from the University of St. Thomas Law School in 2015.. While in law school, I argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of a man whose civil lawsuit against several probation officers alleging he was wrongfully incarcerated for several months was dismissed at the lower court. Fortunately for our client, we prevailed in that appeal—and I felt reassured and proud knowing that taking his case to the next level helped him continue in his pursuit of justice and compensation.. That drive carries forward into my work at OFT Law, because we are a law firm that takes great pride in the work we do for clients.
