A Rock Hill native, Mitchell Byrd received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College in 2000. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004, where he served on the American Bar Association Real Property, Probate, and Trust Journal. He was also an active member of the University of South Carolina Moot Court Bar. His father is an attorney as was his grandfather, so practicing law is in his blood.. Since being sworn into the South Carolina Bar in 2004, Mitchell has focused on litigation within the criminal justice system as an economics crime prosecutor for the Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office and within the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation system. He is a member of the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, and Injured Workers’ Advocates. In 2014, he was selected as a member of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Leadership Academy. He was recently awarded Legal Elite of the Upstate.. Mitchell says the thing he enjoys most about practicing law is helping people solve problems when they may not be in the position to help themselves. He strives to be generous with his time so that he can truly understand his clients’ needs. Mitchell and his wife Megan have a son, Patrick. Rafael J. Guzman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1999. After graduation he worked as a Juvenile Probation officer for Whiteside County in Morrison, Illinois before embarking to legal studies.. He attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated in 2005. He also worked at The John Marshall Fair Housing Legal Clinic, under the guidance of Professors F. Willis Carusso, Joseph R. Butler and Damian Ortiz, representing numerous victims of housing discrimination. He was a board member of the Illinois Latino Law Student Association (ILLSA) from 2004 to 2005. ILLSA was created in an effort to increase networking opportunities for Latina/o law students across Illinois and to build alliances between the Latino student associations at all of the law schools in Illinois.. Stephen has held numerous leadership positions in both the Thurston County and Washington State Bar Associations and earned the highest pre eminent rating for his legal skills in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.. In addition to receiving the Thurston County Bar Association Bigelow Award for Lawyer of the Year for 2002, Stephen has also served as president of his local Rotary club.. He is currently serving as a hearing officer for the WSBA Disciplinary Board.

Chad Beck joined Lehmbecker Law in July 2014 and since that time has practiced workers’ compensation law exclusively. Chad began his practice of law in Ohio in 2006 and since that time has dedicated the entirety of his practice to advocating for the rights of people suffering from physical and/or mental disabilities.. Chad has represented disabled individuals at over 1,500 Social Security disability hearings in Ohio, Washington, and multiple other places across the country.  He also has extensive experience representing Social Security disability claimants in appeals before the Appeals Council and in United States District Court.  Given this dedication and experienced representation, Chad has proven himself to be a very strong advocate for the rights of the injured and disabled.. Chad is a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and of the University of Cincinnati where he earned a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and graduated Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Psychology. Chad is admitted to practice law in three different jurisdictions, including Washington, Ohio, and the District of his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, billiards and basketball, and hiking with his golden retriever Henry.

Mrs. Ramsey comes to the field of worker’s compensation with an extensive history of standing up for people’s rights in difficult situations. Her experience includes working in immigration defense of unaccompanied minors, family law for survivors of domestic abuse, and eviction defense.
