An attorney with 27 years of experience and a statewide reputation, I am a certified workers’ compensation law specialist. I have also successfully handled hundreds of Social Security Disability + SSI appeals.. A partner at Cole, Fisher, Cole, O'Keefe + Mahoney, I have established a reputation and contacts throughout California. I am a member of the California Applicants’ Attorney Association (CAAA), an organization of attorneys who represent those injured at work. I was invited to serve on CAAA’s executive committee, where I helped direct the organization’s efforts to assist injured workers.. In addition to my practice in workers’ compensation, I have also successfully handled hundreds of Social Security Disability and SSI appeals. Recognized as one of California’s Super Lawyers, I handle cases in the Central Valley, and have more recently begun accepting clients in the Santa Barbara area.. My Story. I graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School and earned a B.S. degree at University of Santa Clara in psychology. After trying my hand at TV journalism in Nebraska, I returned to Fresno to pursue a legal career and graduated with distinction from San Joaquin College of Law. While in law school, I clerked at local firm Baker Manock & Jensen, and ultimately joined the then firm of Cole and Fisher, which has grown to the Cole, Fisher, Cole, O'Keefe + Mahoney firm that the Central Valley knows today.

I am proud to be a third-generation attorney at the firm founded by my grandfather, Curtis Cole. I am a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law.. I began my career in law by working at the firm, when I was in high school. During my last two years of school, I clerked at our firm, participating in depositions, settlement conferences and legal writing. This experience allowed me to hit the ground running. Since joining the firm as an attorney in 2012, I have handled hundreds of appearances and settlements for the firm, while building my own caseload along the way. I knew Cole, Fisher, Cole, O'Keefe + Mahoney is where I wanted to be based on the firm’s reputation, and the family history it represents for me.. I am a member, and past Central Valley chapter Vice President, of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), an organization of attorneys who represent those injured at work.. A graduate of San Joaquin Memorial High School, I obtained my B.A. degree from U.C. Santa Barbara and proceeded to San Joaquin College of Law. Being chosen as a George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition Best Oral Advocate Finalist, I went on to represent the school at a state-wide competition..
