In addition to my practice in workers’ compensation, I have also successfully handled hundreds of Social Security Disability and SSI appeals. Recognized as one of California’s Super Lawyers, I handle cases in the Central Valley, and have more recently begun accepting clients in the Santa Barbara area.. My Story. I graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School and earned a B.S. degree at University of Santa Clara in psychology. After trying my hand at TV journalism in Nebraska, I returned to Fresno to pursue a legal career and graduated with distinction from San Joaquin College of Law. While in law school, I clerked at local firm Baker Manock & Jensen, and ultimately joined the then firm of Cole and Fisher, which has grown to the Cole, Fisher, Cole, O'Keefe + Mahoney firm that the Central Valley knows today.
