In 2011, he moved to Chicago to study law at DePaul University College of Law, with a plan to return to Colorado in the future. In 2012 he moved to Madrid, Spain and completed a year-long Masters of Law in International and European Business Law. After passing the Colorado Bar Exam in 2014, K.C. worked for just short of a year at a high-volume plaintiff’s personal injury firm. I was born and raised in a small town just south of Kansas City, Missouri. I am the youngest of three children, and come from a family of public educators. After high school I attended the University of Central Missouri where I was the captain of the wrestling team. I earned my law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law. While in school I clerked for the Honorable Judge George W. Draper III at the Missouri Supreme Court, then worked at the Missouri State Public Defender office in Fulton, Missouri. I moved to Denver in 2014 and have been representing those injured at work and through the negligence of others since.
