After graduating from Colby College, Jason attended University of Maine School of Law in Portland where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Jason gained experience representing large corporations such as Bath Iron Works at the firm of Monaghan Leahy in Portland. He also completed an internship for the Kennebec County District Attorney’s office. After law school, Jason worked in the Appellate Division of Unum Insurance Company. In 2001, Jason left Unum for private practice and he has been representing Maine people ever since.. After joining private practice, Jason trained under his father, former attorney and current Maine Supreme Court Justice Joseph Jabar and former law partner and current Maine Superior Court Justice Michaela Murphy. Jason currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Jason has handled hundreds of cases, including 2 criminal homicide cases. He has fought in over one hundred contested trials, including several jury trials. In Jason’s first personal injury jury trial, he obtained a $ 148,000 jury verdict for his injured client after a 4-day trial. In that case, the opposing insurance company offered nothing to settle. Jason has also obtained Court Judgments of $406,000, $311,000, and $175,000 for his clients, both in cases where the opposing party offered nothing to settle.. Jason recently defeated Aetna’s New York City lawyers in a hard fought battle in Federal Court to reinstate his client’s long term disability benefits. Nathan A. Duncan was born in Provo, Utah and raised in California. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Brigham Young University in 2004. He subsequently attended law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2007.. Nathan is a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 40 under 40. He is also a member of the 30th Judicial Circuit Bar Association and the Missouri Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Western and Easten Districts of Missouri. Robert Horton is a 2008 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Civil Division of the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office while attending the University. While with the Civil Division, Mr. Horton worked on cases against the county involving complex legal issues, drafted advisory opinions, and assisted in defending the County in liability claims.. Following graduation, Rob worked as a solo practitioner, focusing on criminal, domestic relations, and personal injury cases. Shortly thereafter, he began working for the law firm of Perantinides & Nolan, where he became more involved in personal injury work. He developed his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accident, and general personal injury claims.. I was born in Cleveland in the mid-eighties.  While I’ve spent a majority of my life in the Northeastern Ohio, I am particularly proud to call myself a Buckeye.  For my undergraduate education, I attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, graduating with a B.A. in English.  After graduation, I went on to study at The University of Akron, School of Law.  While in law school, I had several excellent job opportunities that exposed me to many diverse areas of the law.  My first hands-on exposure to the legal field occurred at the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, where I worked as a legal intern.  I went on to become a law clerk for the City of Cleveland’s Law Department, where I was able to work as a Prosecutor in traffic court, as well as help try misdemeanor cases.  I finished my final year of law school as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office in Akron.   I attribute the foundation of my legal knowledge and skills to the excellent supervisors and colleagues I had throughout my law school career.

Having been in a serious motorcycle accident myself as a child, I know what it is like to be treated unfairly by the auto insurance companies. I remember the helpless feeling not knowing what was wrong with me physically, and not receiving any compensation for my serious injuries.
