Sara is a 2005 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in writing and a minor in psychology. She graduated magna cum laude. She continued her community service by serving as an Americorps Energy Express mentor during her summer vacations. She taught reading and writing to elementary school students.. Sara always wanted to be a lawyer and was so honored to attend law school at West Virginia University from 2005 until 2008. Sara was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in October 2009. She gained trial experience in her position as a public defender. Appearing daily in magistrate and circuit court on behalf of both adult and juvenile clients, Sara was afforded the opportunity to hone her litigation skills.. In June of 2012, she returned to North Central West Virginia and began working for Kaufman and McPherson shortly thereafter in July of 2012. Sara primarily works in the fields of motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and falls, and medical malpractice law. Sara and her husband live in the Clarksburg area with their three children.
