I have been practicing in Etowah County since 1996.  I started out practicing with my brother, Gary Bone, the former Union President of Gulf States Steel.  I then went out on my own in 1997 and started my own practice.  Since then I have been specializing in personal injury, criminal defense, and family law.

Linward C. Edwards is a native of Florence, South Carolina. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1995. He then went on to serve his country in The United States Air Force for four years before returning home and attending Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelors of Business Degree in 2004. Mr. Edwards then attended the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in Washington, D.C. and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010. While in law school, he clerked for the Public Defender’s Office of the District of Columbia and was a summer Judicial Clerk for the Fourth Circuit Federal Judge, the Honorable Margaret Seymour.. In April 2012, he then opened his own law practice, The Law Office of Linward Edwards II, where he continues to represent clients in state and federal court cases today. His practice focuses on the areas of Personal Injury Law primarily automobile accidents, limited criminal defense and Family Law cases. In December 2014, Mr. Edwards was appointed as a Municipal Court Judge for the city of Florence, South Carolina. He continues to serve in that capacity on a part-time basis. He serves on numerous boards in his community including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area as well as The N.A.A.C.P. Linward is also an active and founding member of M.I.N.G.L.E of the Pee Dee which stands for Minorities Involved In Networking, Growth, Leadership, and Empowerment. The nonprofit was formed in 2014 and its primary purpose was to highlight minority businesses and professionals of color. Linward and his wife Jennifer have three sons named Amir, Tahjae, and Cordae. Linward enjoys the practice of law and when he is not spending time with his family he’s mentoring local youth whom express an interest in the legal profession.

Don first gained national attention when his exploits as a young defense attorney with the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps became the basis for the motion picture, "A Few Good Men" in 1992.. I earned my Juris Doctorate (law degree) at the Univ. of Houston. While there, I was awarded a fellowship to work at one of the most the prestigious capital defense post-conviction law firms in the nation, the Texas Defender Service. My practice is exclusively devoted to federal and state criminal defense. I am licensed by the state of Texas and eligible to practice in all Texas state courts however; a substantial portion of my practice is conducted in various federal courts around the nation.
