Location: Seattle Washington Hello everyone, I was recently rear ended by a semi-truck driver which caused some damage to my trunk/bumper. I have to turn in my car now to the repair shop to get the damages fixed but then I'll be out of a car. My insurance doesn't provide a rental either and I NEED one for work. Can I ask the trucking company to pay for the rental? Or if they don't want to, can I sue them for that compensation? If I wasn't rear ended I wouldn't have to get a rental in the first place so. Just asking so I can minimize what I'm paying out of pocket. The cost of the rental is over 1000$.
