SSI and marriage Question

Hi Location: Oklahoma Im currently on a combo of SSI and SSDI. My partner just had his ALJ hearing and his lawyer is very confident they won. My question is if we got married in the future do any of you know how this would affect our benefits? We have been barely scraping by on my $900/mo for the last 5 years and I don’t want to lower any income he might get but at the same time I really worry about either of us having a medical emergency and not being able to make decisions for each other because we’re not married. TBH Im not even sure who would make decisions for me since all my immediate family has passed. Thank you in advance for any insights.
