First Speeding Ticket

Hello to put it simply I am wondering the best option on handling my speeding ticket. Location: (Houston,Texas) I was clocked at 55 in a 30 the situation was simply me not paying attention to the speed limit etc. The officer cut me slack and even did not add some 10% thing on my ticket since it was my first offense. I looked on the court website and i’m not eligible to request a deferred deposition. I have no problem paying a fine or anything but I do not want this ticket on my record or anything. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the best option or if there is a way to not get this ticket on my record. Thank you in advance and any help is very much appreciated.
