Am I going to fuck up my active investigation?

I (19F), my bf (18M), my roommate (19F), my little sister (14F), two of her friends (14F), and my little brother (16M), got jumped at the fair about a year ago. My boyfriend and I were pretty injured afterwards so we decided to press charges. The individuals who did it were 3 adults and 2 minors, and we had no relationship to them prior to the event. They hopped out of a car drive by style while we were walking through the neighborhood trying to find our car following a road rage incident and everyone just started fighting while the driver drove off. One of the minor females ended up turning herself and the main perpetrator, who is an adult male, in. My attorney said she did it because they broke up, and they broke up because he laid his hands on her. She turned herself in 2 days after having a warrant. It took a month to get the guy after his warrant was issued, but then when they got him, they issued his court date and he didn't show up. He was arrested again for that failure and went to court following a jail stay, but he pled not guilty. My attorney said the case is no longer open and shut, and everyone expected him to plead guilty. We will have to testify because of his plea, and win over the jury. I should also mention we have video of the assault and picked his face out from the line up, which allowed him to be arrested. But my attorney said that evidence is not concrete and can't be used to get very far in court, and it mainly served as a good reason for his arrest. So now to address the title, I discovered a few of his socials. Originally I was just kind of social media stalking, maybe I would find a post that would place him at the fair at the time. It wouldn't help a lot legally, I know that, but I was just curious. But then an idea popped into my head, what if I talked to him? I wonder if he would recognize me. I sincerely doubted it because nobody involved knew eachother. But I light heartedly thought about the idea of luring him into an admission of guilt. I didn't think anything would come of it because I just DM'd him on Facebook!!!! And he responded within 15 minutes so I guess I just started laying it on! Now we've been talking on Facebook and Snapchat for 3 days and I've been heavily flirting with him. I've so far gotten him to admit he uses all of his guns a lot, they're all not registered, he's gang affiliated (which was confirmed by my detective and matches up to his socials posts which are pretty much all just short videos of him repping with his guns), he's hurt people before, and he went to the fair this year. He has absolutely no idea who I am and I think if he recognized my motives he wouldn't be answering so many of my questions. I guess what I'm asking is, if my plan works, and I get an admission of guilt, can that make my assault case open and shut? Will I get in trouble providing that information because of the way I gathered it? If I can get it out of him and it would benefit me, what key information would I need to make this viable? We don't have a restraining order or anything, that's the only thing I could think of that would make that bad. I also have an attorney and I'm a very curious person, so I ask him a lot of questions and request case updates frequently. I was thinking about going to him but I called yesterday and he will be on vacation for 2 weeks. Tldr: baiting (via flirting) my assaulter who doesn't know who I am into an admission of guilt so our court case would hopefully go more in my favor. Yay or nay? Location: Tulsa Oklahoma
