Code for Non-Profit on H-4?

Location: Washington, U.S. (or any other state) Can I volunteer for a non-profit and help build a website for them as volunteer work on H-4 visa without EAD? I know I can volunteer for non profits in this case, but I just wanted to make sure I can volunteer doing coding for a nonprofit
