[MN] Wage Schedule

I am currently working for a school district. There is a union contract but I am not covered by it as I do not meet the definitions of an employee covered under the contract. My supervisor is implying that the intent is that I am paid after 20+ days of work. Under my state's legislation, this is legal as it is under the 31 day requirement https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/181.101 Do I have any options for being paid more quickly as I have not signed any contract for employment? I have undergone the background check and identification paperwork for a W2 employee. Location: Minnesota
