Company fired HR handling workers comp case and disability

Long story, so im gonna try and do it by sort of bulletpoints to the best of my ability. If I miss anything, I will add it in the comments This has been from December 2025 to current day Location: Michigan • 20, working as welder at small town shop, had me using large hand grinder for over week 10+ hr days and developed severe carpal tunnel in right hand, moderate in left, officially seen in early December. • Continued getting worse and was extremely painful, couldn't brush teeth, drive or get dressed. Continued working and complained to company, but nothing was done in the end. Filed for workers comp to cover all appointments. • Vacation April 30th to end of May, hoping break from work and carpal tunnel shot would help, returned and still in excruciating pain. • Following up with doctors, getting EMGS done and surgeon basically wanted me in asap because it's very hindering. • First surgery date doesn't get approved in time by workers comp. I tell my job I cannot work while waiting for this surgery. I started filing for disability and wait for August 6th my next surgery date. •Working with our company's new HR lady to file for disability since I will be out of work for a month before surgery and 6 weeks after. Fast forward to now, •company fired HR lady without telling me •Haven't heard a word from workers comp (expected too) •Haven't been approved for disability this whole time so just unpaid this whole time (which is suspected was gonna happen) •Office staff who have been working there for years, don't know any of my information mysteriously and are essentially ignoring everything I just haven't had any help whatsoever, I can not return to work as I am, and I am essentially out of luck and will have to postpone the surgery unless it magically gets approved overnight. The company owner is money hungry and let's people go at random, so anyone who could help is no longer working. If there are any thoughts on this please let me know, im gonna continue pushing this because I cannot afford this surgery myself. Thank you for your time
