I want to be a part of changing lives for the better and my life has lead me in that direction.. Graduated from University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2003. As a trial Attorney, I have prosecuted both jury and bench trials. Additionally, I have presented cases before the Grand Jury. As a prosecutor I primarily practiced in Juvenile Delinquency matters. The last decade specifically was spent working with Juveniles with Sexually Maladaptive Behaviors and sexual boundary concerns.. After twelve years as prosecutor, the time became right to transition into private practice. Why? I realized, however, that I was missing something. I was missing the ability to go back to what sparked my interest in doing this work everyday by being able to work with clients directly, having a direct impact, and being able to help them thrive long-term. I'm practically an Arizona native, having lived in the Valley since I was six years old. However, I was born in Pennsylvania and still have strong family connections on the East Coast. I attended the University of Arizona for college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Political Science. When it came to law school, I wanted a change of scenery, but still wanted to stay warm! I focused on schools primarily in the Southeastern region of the country. I attended a small private school in Birmingham, Alabama called Cumberland School of Law. Although I enjoyed the South, after three years it was time to return to the West. I came back to Arizona and took the Arizona Bar Examination in 2008. I have been licensed to practice law in this state since October 2008.
